In London’s defense, it sounds like you went to the movies in Leicester Square where every ticket is a rip off and most certainly were suckered into the day rate instead of 3 or 5 day transport passes for much better fares. Don’t worry, you didn’t catch the only sunny days in London, Bart and I have found that almost everyday is sunny and also reasonably warm! It’s well worth the visit.

If you haven’t decided where to go from here, I would actually recommend the northern countries while the weather is still superb. We are headed to Stockholm at the end of the month, but I understand the Norway fjords, and the Finnish lakes are also fabulous summer destinations!

If you happen to route through London again (clearly known to happen given the way the flights work), let’s have some drinks, swap crazy travel stories and hopefully create a better remembrance of London!
